Pretty cool stuff I just witnessed, Senator McCaskill was unhappy with an email she received on the Senate floor and believed she was misinformed of an amendment. She had to use the phone on the Senate floor and call back to the office and the cubicle next to me got the call. The staffer had to relay the message that she needed to vote Aye to table an amendment by Senator Dianne Feinstien. I heard her conversation end, then she appeared on C-Span and voted right afterward! Lovely how electronics have changed the way Democracy works!
